New Ford Escape / Kuga SUV on Film

The world premiere of the brand-new 2013 Ford Escape took place on Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
We've already brought you a boatload of pictures and all the juicy details that were available at the time, so now we're going to share with you two new videos of the compact SUV, including some B-Roll footage shot on the road and a clip from the media presentation in L.A.
In the U.S., the newest iteration of the Escape will launch with a range of three engines, including a pair of 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost petrol units, and an entry level naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-pot.
The Escape's European equivalent, the second generation of the Ford Kuga, will be shown in Geneva in March and according to the Detroit automaker, will offer unique powertrains including a comprehensive diesel lineup, and bespoke features.
Ford said that it also plans to launch the Escape under the Kuga nameplate in China starting from next spring.

  1. I do not like this. I have an 03 Escape. When the new body style came out, it took me awhile to get used to it, even thought about upgrading and getting one. But this... this is turning my SUV into a cross between a SUV and a station wagon! DO NOT LIKE. I saw one today. It's shorter than mine, and they took all the edges out and made then curves. No. Just no. I guess I need to find a new SUV to change once my cars dies, which I hope is never. The body style I have now, is my dream car! You ruined it Ford, just ruined it.
