Nissan has prepared a pair of special edition versions that attempt to make its Micra supermini somewhat more attractive to British buyers.
The new models are named Kuro and Shiro, which translate to black and white respectively in Japanese, and are based on the mid-grade Acenta specification adding a small number of features.
As you would expect, the Kuro is finished in a Sapphire Black color, which is a brand new metallic hue for the Micra, while the Shiro is available with a choice of two white shades, Pearl or Alabaster. A special badge on the tailgate denotes their name.
Both special editions get a special badge on the tailgate as well as an ivory-effect dashboard and lighter seat trim, while extra equipment includes parking sensors with parking space measurement, heated front seats and climate control.
The Japanese firm's integrated satellite navigation system, Nissan Connect, is available as an option for £400.
The Kuro and Shiro are offered with both Micra engines and transmissions, including the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated and new supercharged DIG-S powerplants with manual or CVT automatic transmissions.
In the UK, on-the-road prices start at £11,550 for a 1.2-litre manual.
