For starters, the Acenta model gets new ‘diamond cut' two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels that replace the previous 15 inchers, along with chrome-effect door mirror covers and front fog light surrounds.
Inside, you'll find different seat fabrics with blue stitching while climate control, automatic headlights and rain-sensitive wipers all now come as standard.
The new N-TEC+ grade level is based on the Acenta but adds rear parking sensors, tinted rear windows and a touch-screen ‘Connect' satellite navigation system with built in CD/radio, iPod gateway, Aux-in, USB connection and Bluetooth phone connection.
For 2012, the Note continues with the same engine line-up that includes the 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter petrol units and the 1.5-liter dCi diesel that returns a combined economy figure of 67.3mpg UK (56mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 110g/km.
In the United Kingdom, prices for the 2012 Note start at £11,200 for the Visia, £13,000 for the Acenta and £13,500 for the new N-TEC+, with sales to begin early next month.
